GEESLING Barbara A. Geesling, 80, a faithful servant of Jesus Christ, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 5, 2018. Barb, born in London, Ohio on November 17, 1937 worked for DEKALB for 45 years. Upon retirement, she began working and volunteering for Madison County Hospital for 18 Years. She was a 50 plus year member of Phi Beta Psi Sorority, an active member of the Center Street Church of Christ in Christian Union, a member of the 20th Century Club and an avid support of the OSU Buckeyes. Barb was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Freeda (Roberts) Geesling and 3 infant siblings. She is survived by her sister, Gloria (Larry) Ramsey of Brookville; brother, Bob (Linda) Geesling of London; 5 nieces and nephews, Teri (Norm) Slick, Ted (Lisa) Ramsey, Rob (Cheron) Geesling, Jenny All and Julie (John) Balzer and 5 great nieces and nephews, Sammy Katie and Sydney All, Jordan Ramsey and Adilee Balzer. Funeral services will be 11 AM, Friday in THE EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY with Reverend Lee Stanley officiating. Interment follows in Somerford Township Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Phi Beta Psi Soroity will hold a special memorial ceremony for Barb at 8 PM.
