PETERMAN

Barbara Jean (Davis) Peterman, 85, of London, passed peacefully on Thursday, May 15, 2025.

Born February 28, 1940, in Fayette County, Ohio, she was a daughter of Herbert Leslie Davis and Marjorie (Holbrook) Davis. Barbara had worked professionally for the former Westinghouse in addition to serving as a pharmacy tech for Madison County Hospital. She found solace in quilting, gardening, and canning various items to share with her family. The true matriarch of her family, Barbara enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and ensured to always cherish the small moments spent together.

Barbara is survived by her son Derrick (Lori) Peterman; grandchildren: Logan Peterman, Lacey Peterman, and Dylan Peterman; siblings: Ruth Mills, Glenna Samuels (Chet Molt), Carol (Leroy) Simpson, Loretta Austin, Bill Davis, Jane Davis; numerous nieces and nephews; in-laws Jeanne Davis and Shirley Davis.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter Daphne Peterman; siblings: Rex Davis, Icle Davis, Johnny Allen Davis, Robert Davis, Sandra Buehl, Ruby Raymond, Margaret Giegling, Annabel All.

A graveside service to honor Barbara will be held on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, beginning at 1:30 PM, in Range Township Cemetery, State Route 323, Sedalia, Ohio 43151.
