Obituary

CALL Annabel L. Call, 97, of London died Friday, July 28, 2017 in London at the Madison Senior Living Community. Born January 12, 1920 in South Solon; she was a daughter of Ivah (Shockley) and Paul Dwain Butcher. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Annabel enjoyed gardening and watching plants and flowers grow. She always cheered her grandchildren in their sports and activities. She was an avid Ohio State fan. In later years she loved to visit shut-ins and friends in the nursing homes. Annabel was a devoted member of the Newport United Methodist Church where she had been a classroom teacher and a volunteer with various church functions. The Lord has blessed her with a caring church family. Survivors include her children David (Becky) Call, Roger (Pamela) Call and Beverly Floyd ("Bill") Miller all of London; grandchildren John, Matthew (Laura) and Brett (Laura) Miller, Brian (Jackie), Daniel (Rena), Mark (Danielle), Peter (Krista), Julia Call, Kathleen (James) Yerian and Victoria (Aaron) Lindsey; seven great-granddaughters, eight great-grandsons and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Isaiah Call on June 4, 1988; sisters Pauline Pence, Iola Small, Clara Tipton, Wiladean Mantle, brother Conrad Butcher and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, August 2, 2017 in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main St, London with Pastor Jeff Smalley officiating. Interment follows in Range Township Cemetery, Sedalia. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 PM Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Annabel's' name may be sent to The Newport United Methodist Church, 80 Center St. SE, PO Box 701, London, OH 43140. The family wishes to thank to Madison Senior Living Community and the staff for the loving care that they provided Annabel. The family also thanks Loving Care Hospice for the care, guidance and support that they extended to Annabel and her family.
