HOWERTON

Andrew David Howerton, 23, of London passed away unexpectedly Friday, January 5, 2024, at Madison Health.

Born July 18, 2000, at Doctor's West in Columbus, he was a son of Angela (Boggs) and Bart Howerton.

Drew was a 2020 graduate of Madison Plains where he played multiple sports including his favorite, football. He was employed as custodian at F.O.E and prior to that, a teacher's aide at the Presbyterian Church in London. He had attended the South Solon Church of Christ in Christian Union, as well as Newport Methodist. He belonged to and was a color guard for the Sons of the American Legion, Post #105 and he loved playing sports, video games, hunting with his Dad and brother, hanging out with Jenica and all his friends, watching horror movies and his recent passion was golfing but his true passion was making music.

Survivors include his girlfriend Jenica Phillips, mother and step-father Angie (Mike) Miller, father and step-mother Bart (Heidi) Howerton, grandparents Jill Boggs (Nelson Palmer), Donald (Bonnie) Miller, Harold (Lisa) Howerton, Allen (Cheryl) Webb and Mike (Lynn) Alexander; great grandmother's Hilda Webb and Geraldine Reed; siblings Taylor (Travis) Chaffin, Ty Sollars, Josh Corwin, Landon and Mayci Miller; nieces and nephews, Roselyn Chaffin, Reagan, Maylan, Blayze and Blade Miller; aunts and uncles Jeremy Boggs, JaeJae Cutlip, Robin Perigo, Lisa Whited, Jerry Mason Boggs, Lynda & Josh Wood, Seth (Amanda) Howerton, Dawn Webb, Christa (Todd) Russell and Jared (Shana) Alexander; numerous aunts uncles and cousins including his special cousin Kelsey Boggs, and a Multitude of friends (to many to list) including his best buds Wesley, Matthew, CJ and Pauly D.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather Jerry Lee Boggs, great-grandparents Bill Webb, Mary Edwards, Joyce and Kenneth Robertson, aunt and uncle Ruth and Jim McGraw and his best friend Mason Cordell.

Friends may call at the Coughlin Building at the Madison County Fairgrounds, 205 Elm Street, London from 3-7 PM Thursday, January 11, 2024. A funeral service will follow at 7 PM with Pastor Phil Starr officiating.
