Aliyah Arianna Napper's Obituary

NAPPER

With heavy hearts and deep love, we announce the passing of Aliyah Arianna Napper, age 26, who went peacefully home to be with the Lord on April 2, 2026, following a courageous battle with cancer. Born on March 19, 2000, in Columbus, Aliyah was a daughter of Aundrey Napper and Kellie Schneider.

Aliyah was a radiant soul whose creativity touched everyone around her. An artist through and through, she found beauty in the world and reflected it back into her work – whether through the lens of a camera, the strokes of her drawings, or the forms she shaped with her hands through sculpting. Her art was not only a passion, but a window into her gentle spirit and unique way of seeing life.

Aliyah also had a deep and abiding love for animals. She found joy and comfort in their presence and showed kindness and compassion to every creature she encountered.

Even in the face of illness, Aliyah carried herself with grace and strength. Her courage inspired those around her and her warmth brought light to even the most difficult days. In her final act of generosity, Aliyah chose to give the gift of sight as an eye and cornea donor – an enduring reflection of her selflessness and her desire to bring light to others, even beyond her time here.

Left to cherish her memory include her mother Kellie; brothers Alavyous Napper, Alonzo (Brianna) Napper, and Xavier Aundrey Napper; niece Cali Marie Napper and nephew Vincent Aundrey Napper; maternal grandfather Robert Schneider, paternal grandparents Constance Napper and Gregory Hoosier; aunts and uncles Marsha (Mark) McCaulla, James Hiser (fiancé Tracey), Tiaira Napper, Jessica Hoosier, Julianna Hoosier, Jarrod Hoosier; numerous great aunts and great uncles. She is also survived by cousins: Uniqua Francis, Dylan McCaulla, Shea (Laura) McCaulla, Joe (Brittany) Hiser, Sam (Cory) Beaty, Chayse (Bethany) Hiser; second cousins Leonidas Hiser, Karter Koontz, Beau Hiser, and Jamie Hiser; special friends: Katie Hill and Jerod Coy; godmother Andrea Howard; special family members Robyn (Brian) Napper, Courtney (Sean) Pinkstaff, and Darius Howard; emotional support dog/the love of her life Rhino, and her beloved cat Mirra.

Aliyah was preceded in death by her father Aundre Napper, maternal grandmothers Bev Schneider and Diane Schneider, great-grandmother June Ann Napper.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, from 4:00 – 6:00 PM in the Fountain of Truth Ministries, 135 Maple Street, London, Ohio 43140. A heartfelt Celebration of Life will then commence at 6:00 PM with Minister Lloyd Doug Jackson II officiating.

Memorials in Aliyah’s name may be sent to benefit the Madison County Humane Society, 2020 State Route 142 NE, West Jefferson, Ohio 43162.
