SMITH Alice M. Smith, 86, of London died Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at the London Health and Rehab Center after a 6 year battle with cancer. Born September 16, 1929 she is the daughter of the late Jesse and Edna (Justice) Pence and had worked as a sales clerk for CVS Pharmacy. She was an avid seamstress and quilter who loved to travel with her husband and continued to travel even with her walker. She is survived by her daughters Donna Reagan of Nashville, Tn. and Anna Shandale of London; sisters Ada Garrett, Georgia Ann Mitchell, Darlene Donahue; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Donald "Big Mike" Smith; her parents; son William Smith; siblings Orville Pence, James Pence, Sylvia Hammond and two grandsons. Celebration of Life Services will be held at 2 PM Saturday in the Church of Christ in Christian Union 180 W. Center St, London with Rev. Lee Stanley officiating. Interment will follow in Somerford Township Cemetery, London. Friends may call at the church from 2 PM- 6 PM Friday and Saturday 12PM until the time of service.
