Luella Jean Bell

BELL Luella Jean Bell, 77 years old from London, OH, passed away on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 while a resident at The Madison Senior Living Community. Born December 22, 1941 in Springfield, OH; she was a daughter of Robert E. and Maryetta Wakeman. Survivors include her loving husband of 59 years Dave; sons Rob of Thailand, Ron (Kathy) of Canal Winchester, OH; and Ric (Jana) of London, OH; grandchildren Kaity, Casey, Chris, Kyle, Sharlene, Shayane and Francesca; as well as several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Bill Wakeman and sister Margaret Flanagan. Jean was a devoted wife and mother who valued family above all else. Her warm soul and sense of humor were two of her most endearing qualities. Even as she dealt with health problems later in life, her mood was always upbeat. Jean's joyful and lighthearted spirit did not go unnoticed by those who took care of her as she always became a favorite patient to her caretakers. Travel and antiquing were two of her interests. With Dave in the driver's seat, they were able to take many trips around the US after his retirement. The western US was one of their favorite destinations. She will be greatly missed by family and friends. Friends may call at the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N.
