Jim Glenn Obituary

GLENN C. Jim Glenn, 74, of Oak Harbor, Ohio, died Tuesday, February 19, 2013 in his residence. Born November 27, 1938 in San Angelo, TX; he was a son of James and Angel Leta (Johnson) Glenn. A graduate of the University of Texas, Jim had worked at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, retiring as deputy director of supply. He formerly attended Saints Simon and Jude Church in West Jefferson, Ohio, was a member of FOE #712, the American Legion Post #0888, was a member of the National Association of Federal Retired Employees and had served in the Texas Army National Guard, stationed in Ballinger, TX. Survivors include his sons James (Lisa) Glenn of Oak Harbor and Jeff (Cindy) Glenn of Moraine, OH; grandchildren Megan Glenn and Emily Glenn; sister Ollie Lou Cole of Ballinger, TX and four nieces of Winters, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Mary Le Glenn in 1999. Friends may call at the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main Street, London, OH from 11 AM until time of services at 1 PM on Thursday, February 28, 2013. Deacon Joe Knapke from Sts. Simon and Jude will be officiating. Private interment at the family's convenience will take place in St. Mary's Cemetery, Ft. Recovery, Ohio. Online condolences for the family may be sent to www.eberlefisherfuneralhome.com
